Griante  belongs to the "coast of Azaleas", caracterized by a mild climate and by a lush vegetation thanks to the vicinity of the lake. Small village of about 600 inhabitants is situated on the hill and therefore away from the traffic but in the same time allows to reach the lake shore rapidly, from which is about 600 mt.

Along the lake promenade in the hamlet of Cadenabbia you can find the bus stop, the boat landing stage for ferries and boats, the pubblic beach with its kiosk and the swimming pool with snack-bar. To the mountain side you can find itineraries such as the natural park of San Martino, from where you can have a beautiful view, or the small village of  Rogaro that links trough baypasses the village of Griante with Tremezzo, Mezzegra and Lenno.
